I started practicing yoga when I was living in India. My previous experiences with different studios in Europe ended in nothing, it was not my cup of tea, I was thinking. But everything changed completely when I stepped into the Yoga Institute Mumbai, the oldest yoga organization in the world.
Since my first visit to the Institute I dedicated more than a year to my studies and personal practice, I've changed my lifestyle completely, overcame insomnia and anxiety disorder, lost several kilos and now feel that my life is full of meaning. Now I feel that I could share this knowledge to others to help people who are in a similar situation as I was.
Yoga is a holistic practical science that gives you mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health. I teach asanas, pranayamas, yogic diet, relaxation techniques and ancient philosophical texts.

I'm Maria, yoga alliance certified yoga teacher. I teach traditional hatha yoga asanas, meditation, pranayamas and kriyas. All these techniques are universal, suitable both for beginners and those who are already yoga practitioners. I teach in English.
I focus on the personal health issues of practitioners, correct alignment of the posture and proprioception.
My qualifications: I did 200 hours and 900 hours teacher training courses, both in Mumbai, India.
