Hi! I’m Julia, a TEFL-certified English teacher from California, currently living in Madrid. Over the past few years, I’ve worked with a wide range of students—from young children in schools to teens and adults in private one-on-one lessons. While living in Spain, I’ve taught English both in the classroom and online, helping students improve their speaking skills, build confidence, and reach their personal or academic goals. I’m passionate about creating a supportive, engaging environment where learners feel comfortable making mistakes and growing through conversation. My teaching style is student-centered, flexible, and encouraging. I tailor each class to your level, interests, and learning goals—whether you want to practice everyday conversation, prepare for exams, or improve your grammar and pronunciation. Outside of teaching, I’m a certified yoga instructor (not currently teaching) and love spending time outdoors—whether it’s at a picnic in the park, browsing vintage markets, or just enjoying the sun. I’m also a big music fan and enjoy going to concerts and discovering new artists. I teach exclusively online, making it easy and convenient for you to learn from anywhere. I look forward to supporting you on your English journey!

My teaching style is fun, flexible, and student-centered. I adapt each lesson to fit the learner’s goals, level, and interests—whether that means using games and songs with children, conversation and role-play with teens, or practical, real-life topics with adults. A typical lesson might include a warm-up activity, focused language practice (vocabulary, grammar, or pronunciation), and a creative or conversational task to apply what we’ve learned. I always aim to create a comfortable, supportive environment where students feel confident to speak and make progress. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with learners and make lessons enjoyable, interactive, and tailored to individual needs. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to improve your fluency, I’m here to support your journey. My lessons are open to all ages—from young children to adults—and can be adapted for beginners through intermediate learners. Let’s find a fun, effective way to reach your English goals together!
