Hello! Nice to meet you! My name is Daniela Prada. I live in Madrid, Spain.
I have been learning English since I was three years old and it's one of my favorite things in the world! I would love to become your English tutor so we can discover the wonders of English together.
For fun, I love to write and record my own music (in English, of course) bake, read and hang out with my friends. I would love to get to know your interests so we can work on something related to them during our classes.
The lessons will be simple and not very heavy. We will spend the first ten minutes talking about our day and learning new vocabulary. The rest of the class will be working on your school material so we can identify your difficulties and work through them.
I will also be recommending you material like books or TV shows you can watch in English. Engaging with media is one of the best ways of learning the language!

Hello, my name is Daniela. I have been learning English for fifteen years, and ever since I have found it as an amazing tool to discover new interests and cultures across barriers. I currently study in an international school, which means I learn all my material in English
As a teacher, I would like to help my students grow their interest
in English and reach a level where they find themselves comfortable speaking the language. I know learning languages is really tricky, but it can be easier with the right approach.
I have never tutored before, but I already have a few ideas in mind on how to work with my students. An ideal class for me would be
- Spending the first ten minutes talking about the student's news and how they're doing at school. I also consider mental health really important and I would love to be a support figure for my student. During these ten minutes, I could help the student figure out vocabulary words they don't know, keeping a "Vocabulary notebook" for new words learned in the class.
- After the icebreaking session, we would work on the material the student is learning in class. I would like to receive it in advance so I can work on a mind-map or explanation for the student to understand the concept step-by-step.
- If we have time, I would look for listening, reading and writing exercises based on the student's level (A1, A2...) so we can work on it together
- To finish, I would reserve 5 minutes so my student can tell me how they feel about the class and what we can change to improve. I will also recommend material in English (books, series...) for the student to engage with in their free time
I love teaching English to others, and I will try to make the classes easier and not very heavy. I have studied English in school for a long time, and I have found that English lessons at school are heavily grammar-focused and not very intuitive. I would love my classes to be fun, interactive and entertaining, so my student can associate the language with something fun and comforting, not just a boring subject to study.
My classes will be targeted towards primary and secondary school students.
