I am a native, English ESL teacher with seven years of experience teaching all ages and levels, for many different purposes. I have a degree, and two English-teaching certificates (CELTA, International House Barcelona/TEFL, Star TEFL), and have worked in private academies, schools and businesses all over Catalonia, as well as private 1-2-1 students online using Skype or Zoom.
If you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced I can help! I like to encourage as much independent learning as possible within my classes, and try to make sure the students do most of the talking! It is important to nurture an interest in the language, and foster an intrinsic desire to want to improve independently. So my classes include a lot of resources for independent study, and my classes are very personalised, to make sure that students get the best lessons specific to them. This way students can learn exactly what they need, see the results and progression that they want, gain confidence in their ability to use the language and stay motivated and happy!
