Acerca de Luis Alfonso
Hola :) I'm from Colombia and I'm currently studying Modern Languages and Culture
From a young age, I've loved to learn and study languages. I think it's fascinating how people's points of view or their conception of life and different concepts can be very influenced by the one they speak natively. It's also really interesting to analyze the way their minds, thoughts, pronunciation and even personality change when they learn new languages.
Being a teacher has helped me understand more of all this and I don't want to stop.
In our classes, we will be immersed in the historic and cultural contexts of Spanish-speaking countries, that way we will start learning thinking as natives do. Everything through slides, material and activities customized to your goals and hobbies.
Other interests I have:
- Chess
- Videogames
- Programming
- Technology
- History
- Economy
I hope to know yours soon :)

Hi! I'm Luis and with me you will improve your Spanish skills through lessons full of varied material and activities customized to your goals and hobbies :) Whether you're preparing to visit Spanish-speaking countries, studying for an exam or you're just a languages lover, I'm here to help you and share this experience with you. We can practice:
Grammar: An accurate explanation with easy and short exercises, images and examples of real life situations. I use slides and will ask you some things to see if you're understanding.
Reading and vocabulary: For the first levels, we'll use short sentences and images so that you remember the seen words. Sometimes I'll tell you about some slang, idioms and music you might like to remember. For higher levels, we'll read short articles or texts to work on. We can do the same with a book you prefer.
Pronunciation and listening: Conversations about topics you like, practice with music and audios or read a book you want aloud.
I have years of experience teaching Spanish online so I'm aware of the best ways to begin and the difficulties that there might be at the beginning or at high levels.
Let's find out the best way for you to learn :)
