Acerca de Gemma
Hi! I'm Gemma, a native English teacher from the UK, now living in sunny Málaga (and still very happily pretending winter doesn't exist).
I've been teaching for over 20 years, but don't worry — that doesn't mean 20 years of grammar worksheets!
For me, language is about connection. I love meeting people, travelling, asking far too many questions and having those conversations where you suddenly realise… hang on, I've been speaking English for the last 20 minutes!
I also know exactly what it's like to learn another language. You know the words. You KNOW you know the words. And then someone asks you a question and suddenly your brain has left the building.
That's why my classes are relaxed, friendly and full of real conversation. We'll laugh, we'll probably go off on a few interesting tangents, you'll make mistakes (as you should!), and somewhere along the way you'll realise you're speaking with much more confidence.
No judgement. No pressure. No boring textbook conversations about where John went on his holidays.
Just real English, real conversations and a lot more confidence.

My classes are all about getting you to actually USE your English!
I create relaxed, engaging and personalised sessions where you can build confidence, improve your fluency and start speaking more naturally — without worrying about making mistakes.
We'll use real conversations, everyday situations and topics that genuinely interest you. I'll help you with pronunciation, vocabulary and those little expressions that make your English sound more natural, while giving you plenty of time to speak.
No two classes are exactly the same because no two students are the same. Whether you want English for travel, work, meeting new people or simply to finally feel confident speaking, I'll adapt our sessions to you.
My goal? Less overthinking. More talking. More confidence. More flow.
