Hi, I'm Leonardo, and I'll help you speak English with confidence.
English has been the language of my entire education. I've studied in British schools my whole life, earning an academic scholarship to City of London School at 13 and completing the International Baccalaureate at The British School of Milan with 38/45. Today I study Management at ESCP Business School, one of Europe's leading business schools, which is what brought me to Madrid.
What I offer is the English that native speakers actually use: natural expressions, correct pronunciation and the confidence to use them in real situations, whether that's a job interview, an exam, a trip abroad or everyday conversation.
I take every student's progress seriously. Before we start, I'll ask about your goals and your current level, and I'll build our lessons around what you really need. I come to each class prepared, I give honest and constructive feedback, and I make sure you leave every lesson knowing something you didn't before.
My lessons are structured but relaxed. Making mistakes is part of learning, and I'll help you feel comfortable enough to speak freely and improve quickly.
Whether you're a student preparing for Cambridge exams, a professional who needs business English, or someone who simply wants to speak more fluently, I'd be happy to help.

I believe the best way to learn a language is to use it. My lessons are built around real conversation, so you practice speaking from the very first class, and I correct mistakes naturally as we go rather than stopping you every sentence. Grammar and vocabulary are always taught in context, through topics that matter to you, instead of long lists to memorize. At the start, I'll ask about your level, your goals and what you find hardest, then tailor every lesson to that.
Example lesson (60 minutes)
10 min: warm-up conversation about your week or a topic you enjoy
20 min: focus on one skill, for example a grammar point, pronunciation or exam technique, with clear explanations and examples
20 min: practice activity using what you've just learned, such as a role-play, a short text, a discussion or exam-style questions
10 min: feedback on your mistakes, new vocabulary to keep, and a short task for next time
My strengths as a tutor
I've been educated in British schools my whole life, so I speak natural, fluent British English and understand how English is really used, not just how textbooks present it. As a university student myself, I know what it's like to study for exams, and I make lessons relaxed and engaging so you actually enjoy practicing. I'm patient, organized and focused on real progress.
