Acerca de Merve Bahar
Hello everyone! My name is Merve, I’m 22 years old and I have been surrounded by English for most of my life. I hold a C2 Proficiency level in English and I am a graduate of an American high school through a dual program, which allowed me to study in English while continuing my education in my home country.
From a very young age, I developed a strong interest in the language by listening to English music, watching movies and TV series in their original version, and later on, reading books in English. This constant exposure helped me not only understand the language academically, but also use it naturally and confidently in real-life situations.
Today, English is not just a subject for me, but a daily tool that I actively use and truly enjoy. My goal is to help students feel comfortable, confident, and motivated when speaking English, and to show them that learning a language can be both effective and enjoyable.

I strongly believe in the usefulness of a second language, so I will focus all my effort on ensuring that the student not only acquires the knowledge needed to pass exams, but truly learns the language. I myself owe a large part of what I have learned to songs and TV series, which is why I have seen firsthand how effective listening to a language is for learning it. For this reason, I prefer to teach the class in English (although this can be adapted to the student’s preferences). I can offer speaking lessons, teach essay writing, work on texts, or explain grammar.
