Certified Spanish Teacher | DELE Exam Coach | Applied Linguist
Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL) educator and Applied Linguist with 13 years of experience teaching diverse learners across international, academic, and professional contexts.
I hold two Master's degrees in Applied Linguistics and Spanish as a Foreign Language Teacher Training, combining a strong academic foundation with practical, student-centered teaching methodologies.
My expertise includes DELE exam preparation, personalized language training, curriculum design, and communicative language development. I design learning experiences around each student's goals, integrating cognitive approaches, real-world communication, and digital tools to make language learning both effective and meaningful.
Throughout my career, I have worked with learners from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, from school-age students to university students, professionals, and international learners, in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
Beyond language instruction, I believe education is about creating connections, building confidence, and expanding opportunities. My teaching is grounded in a human-centered approach that encourages students not only to develop linguistic competence, but also to communicate with confidence and navigate different cultural contexts.

My teaching approach is built around one principle: language should be understood, experienced, and used—not simply memorized.
My lessons combine real-world communication, cognitive grammar, and goal-oriented learning, helping students understand how Spanish works while developing the confidence to use it naturally in everyday situations.
Rather than relying on isolated grammar rules, I use context, visual explanations, meaningful examples, and guided practice to help students understand the logic behind the language. From the very beginning, we apply what you learn through conversations and situations connected to your personal, professional, academic, or travel goals.
Each learning plan is adapted to the student's level, interests, learning style, and objectives. Lessons integrate speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with a strong emphasis on communication and practical application.
I teach Spanish from beginner to advanced levels and also provide specialized DELE exam preparation, combining exam strategies with the language skills and confidence required to perform successfully.
My goal is to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where you can experiment with the language, make mistakes, ask questions, and gradually move from knowing Spanish to actually communicating in Spanish with confidence and purpose.

I have been taking classes with Jennifer for over two years, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy
I understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule a class, please let me know at least 12 hours in advance. This allows me to make that time available to other students and find a new time that works for you.
I also understand that unexpected situations happen. In the event of circumstances beyond your control—such as a power or internet outage, an unexpected emergency, or a significant transportation issue—I will do our best to reschedule your class without penalty.
Cancellations or missed classes without the required 12-hour notice and without a reasonable unforeseen circumstance will be considered completed and deducted from your class package.
