Acerca de Danitza

Experience and Commitment to Your Learning Hi! I’m Danitza, a Spanish teacher with a solid career of over 22 years dedicated exclusively to teaching Spanish as a second language. My career has been more than just a job; it is a vocation that has allowed me to perfect a method where academic excellence and human warmth go hand in hand.

Why trust my expertise? I understand that learning a language is both an emotional and cognitive challenge. That’s why my approach moves away from rigid and monotonous lessons. By working with me, you can expect:

A solid pedagogical foundation: My specialized training in teaching second languages allows me to explain grammar in a simple, logical way.

Complete Adaptability: It doesn’t matter if you’re a college student or a professional short on time; I tailor my pace to your needs, always in a patient and respectful atmosphere.

Proven Success: I’ve coached hundreds of students from all over the world to break through the "fear barrier" of speaking, leading them to a natural and accurate flow.

My Promise to You I want every minute we spend together to truly count. My teaching style is straightforward, organized, and supportive. I’ll give you the precise feedback you need while cheering on every milestone you hit. With my experience, I guarantee we’ll meet your language goals in the most efficient and professional way possible.

Acerca de la clase

My Methodology: Language as a Living Tool My primary focus is the Communicative Method. This means that from day one, the goal is for you to use Spanish in real-world contexts. I don’t limit myself to repeating grammar rules; I want you to understand the "why" behind the language so you can express yourself naturally.

My teaching is built on a fundamental balance:

Student Needs: I customize content based on your specific interests (business, travel, exam prep, or culture).

Linguistic Precision: I ensure the correct use of the language so your foundation remains solid and professional.

What is a lesson with me like? Each 55-minute session is designed to be dynamic:

00-10 min | Activation: Fluid conversation on current events or personal experiences to warm up your ears and tongue.

10-30 min | Concept Introduction: Presenting a new grammar point or vocabulary through authentic materials (articles, videos, or audio).

30-45 min | Guided & Free Practice: Application exercises where you take center stage and I act as your guide.

45-55 min | Feedback & Wrap-up: Review of common mistakes made during the session and points to reinforce.

What sets me apart as a teacher? After more than two decades in education, I have developed a total capacity for adaptation. I define myself as an empathetic and patient teacher; my classroom is a "judgment-free" safe space where mistakes are understood as a necessary step toward learning. My experience allows me to quickly identify your mental blocks and adjust the pace in real-time.

Who are my classes for? My programs are specifically designed for young people and adults (from beginner A1 to advanced C2). I specialize in:

Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE).

Spanish for Specific Purposes (Professional and Academic).

Danitza is truly an incredible teacher. From the very beginning, she meets you exactly where you are in your Spanish journey and builds your confidence step by step. She has a rare gift for making every lesson engaging, interactive, and fun.

What makes Danitza stand out most is how personable she is. She takes the time to get to know you — not just as a student, but as a person. She asks about your life, your interests, and your goals, and thoughtfully turns them into structured, well-prepared lessons. Learning with her never feels forced or intimidating.

She progresses at a pace that feels supportive and manageable, and her patience is unmatched. No matter how frustrated you might feel, she stays encouraging, calm, and positive. She creates such a comfortable environment that speaking the language feels natural — like you’re having a conversation with a friend.

Beyond traditional lessons, she brings language to life. Whether it’s cooking together while practicing Spanish, basketball, going on hikes, or walking around to fully immerse yourself in the culture (when lessons are in person), she turns learning into a meaningful experience.

By the end, I didn’t just feel like I had a teacher — I felt like I had gained a family member. If you choose to learn with Danitza, you are making an amazing decision. 11/10 — highly, highly recommend!

Danitza is hands-down one of the best teachers I have ever had the pleasure to know. Although she mostly works online, I first met her in Cusco, Perú. My Spanish skills would not be what they are today if it were not for her! She is the gold standard!!! You can really tell she has two decades of experience under her belt from the very first lesson. She is incredibly professional, highly certified/educated, and she brings a wealth of academic knowledge to every class. Although she does group classes, in my experience, she really shines in one-on-one classes. Her classes are polished, effective, and tailored to the students' needs. Five stars!
