I am an experienced international (UK-trained) teacher specializing in Biology, Science and Psychology, and I am passionate about helping students become more confident and independent learners.
I have taught students from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities, from those who need extra support and reassurance to high-achieving students aiming for top grades. My experience includes IGCSE and A-Level Biology and Science with Cambridge International and Edexcel, IB Diploma Biology at SL and HL, and Cambridge International A-Level Psychology.
I believe that effective tutoring begins with understanding the individual student. My lessons are friendly and supportive, but also focused and academically challenging. I take time to identify gaps in knowledge and misconceptions, explain difficult ideas in ways that make sense to the individual, and help students develop the skills to apply their knowledge confidently.
For students preparing for examinations, I combine subject knowledge with a strong focus on exam technique, helping them understand what questions are really asking and how to turn what they know into successful answers.
Most importantly, I want my students to enjoy learning and recognize their own progress. My goal is not simply to improve their next test result, but to help them develop the confidence, understanding and independence they need to succeed for themselves.

I am an experienced international teacher specializing in Biology, Science and Psychology. I have taught Biology at IGCSE, A-Level and IB Diploma (SL and HL), as well as Science at IGCSE and Psychology at A-Level. My experience includes Cambridge International and Edexcel specifications for Science and Biology, and Cambridge International A-Level Psychology.
My approach to tutoring starts with the individual student. I identify what they already understand, where misconceptions or gaps have developed, and what they want to achieve. From there, I tailor lessons to their needs, whether that means rebuilding confidence in a difficult topic, extending a high-achieving student, or preparing specifically for examinations.
I focus on understanding rather than memorization. I use questioning, diagrams, real-world examples, guided problem-solving and exam questions to help students make connections between ideas and explain their reasoning. As students become more confident, I gradually reduce the level of support so that they become increasingly independent.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of prior learning and an opportunity to identify any areas of uncertainty. We then work through the main concept together, using examples and questioning to develop understanding. This is followed by progressively more independent application, often using exam-style questions, data analysis or problem-solving. We finish by reviewing what has been learned and identifying the next steps.
For students working towards formal qualifications, lessons combine strong subject knowledge with examination technique. Having taught across different international examination boards, I understand the importance of command terms, assessment objectives, practical and data-analysis skills, and learning how to apply knowledge to unfamiliar situations.
My teaching style is friendly, supportive and challenging. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, while still being encouraged to think deeply and aim high. Rather than simply giving students the correct answer, I help them work out why an answer is correct and how they can apply that understanding independently next time.
Ultimately, successful tutoring should not create dependence on a tutor. My goal is to give students the knowledge, confidence and skills to succeed independently, both in their examinations and beyond them.

Precisiones
My fees vary according to the level of study and the preparation required for each lesson:
KS3 / Lower Secondary Science: €30 per hour
IGCSE / GCSE Science & Biology: €35 per hour
A-Level Biology: €40 per hour
IB Diploma Biology (SL & HL): €45 per hour
A-Level Psychology: €40 per hour
All lessons are individually prepared and tailored to the student's course, examination board, current level and goals. Fees include lesson preparation and any resources provided during the session.
In-person lessons are available within 20 km. A travel supplement of €5–€10 may apply depending on distance.
