Hi! I’m Valentina, an English tutor with a C2 level of proficiency and a strong international background
Thanks to my international experiences living and studying in California, New York, and Barcelona, I’ve developed a natural, fluent command of English and a deep understanding of how it’s used in real-life situations.
Beyond teaching, I’m deeply passionate about music, especially piano, and cinema. I love incorporating these interests into my lessons: using films, scenes, and music to make learning more engaging, natural, and fun. This helps students connect with the language in a more real and creative way.
My academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Film Directing from Universidad del Cine, along with an exchange program in Audiovisual Communication at Universidad Pompeu Fabra. These experiences strengthened my communication, storytelling, and intercultural skills, key tools that I actively apply in my teaching approach.
While my professional background is rooted in audiovisual production and content creation, I have extensive experience working in communication-focused environments and leading workshops, which has naturally translated into teaching. I am especially skilled at helping students develop confidence in speaking, improve pronunciation, and communicate effectively in real-life situations.

Additionally, I integrate creative resources such as film scenes, music, and storytelling techniques into my lessons. This not only makes classes more engaging but also helps students understand cultural context, natural expressions, and conversational flow in English.
