Acerca de Mary
My name is Mary, I am 23 years old and a native English-speaker! I am Nigerian/Irish; moved to the UK when I was a little older (hence the accent) and then moved to Spain by myself at 21. I first lived and worked as an English teacher in an academy in Bilbao; the north. I then moved to Madrid where I work part-time with English and I am studying a master's in international law! I love teaching, it's very rewarding but I also love the law :) I run, I love travel and will never say no to a sweet treat hahah

My method is all about the student. I believe that the conversational method is the best approach; however, it would be wrong to neglect grammar. It isn't the most important part of learning a language but it is important! That being said, we can alter the classes to your preference and how you learn best! A typical conversational class: chit chat to warm up, moving onto new words and grammar and learning how to apply these to your life. My classes are aimed for at all ages, all levels. As a teacher, I try to keep it fun and light and I love when students come with things that interest them:) ALSO - we try to speak only English class but I understand it's difficult!

My price is €10 an hour but for my time of travel, there is an extra €2 charge. Of course if you would like to meet very close by, I can remove the charge as I don’t have to travel far. I am fair so if there is an issue or you would like to speak about the price, I’m all ears :) it also depends on the type of class and materials you require!
