Acerca de Joan Recci
I'm from Manila Philippines. I used to be an English teacher to Korean exchange students back in my university days. I have also worked as an examiner and assisted the regional director in some financial tasks in British Council in Philippines. I had a total of 10 years work experience in the corporate field back in Manila, I started out my career as a call center agent doing credit card collections and sales. A few years after, I was able to land a career for me in the very prestigious Shell Petrol Company as an Analyst Revenue who dealt with account managers from Oceania, New Zealand and Australia managing credit overdues for different LOB's or lines of businesses like Lubricants and Aviation accounts and finally prior to pursuing opportunities abroad, I landed a job as a Business Development Coordinator in Baker and McKenzie Global Services, which is a Manila based position directly supporting the manager in the development and execution of the groups business development projects and processes. I provided administrative support , website and database management and did also marketing management of the previous attorneys and in house partners of the firm.

I generally do the student centered approach, I want the learning process to be equally active roles. My primary role is to coach and facilitate student learning and overall comprehension of material. I act as the facilitator and delegator of tasks. Mostly I find it very effective to present to students various topics that is of interest to them and guide them accordingly based on the discussion. I also incorporate technology in my teaching by use of video presentations and use of tablets as well.
